The completely new facility was built here as part of a reconstruction project by OHLA ŽS, a.s.

The main purpose of this installation is to protect the walls of these structures from ice formation during the winter months. For this reason, the use of aeration and a blower unit was already considered in the project.

A secondary benefit of aeration in this case will be ensuring access for fish to the open water surface and, outside the winter months, welcome oxygenation of the water in the reservoir thanks to year-round cyclic operation.

Our delivery consisted of a ROOTs KUBÍČEK blower unit type 3D19B-050K, aeration elements of our own production, in a fixed version, and stainless steel piping, which was supplied in perfect quality by our long-term partner, Metal-Management, spol. s r.o.

The reservoir, which falls under the authority of Povodí Odry, s.p., is now gradually being filled, and once it reaches its full operating level, the entire system will be put into operation.

We replaced the original KUBÍČEK ROOTs blowers type 3D55C-200K (75 kW motor) from 2008 with new, highly efficient SD60B-200K screw blowers with a 55 kW motor.

The original electrical installation, including frequency converters, was fully retained, so there were no additional costs associated with the transition to modern equipment.

Together with the optimization of the operation of the blowers and the aeration system, energy savings of 20-30% compared to the original solution are already evident!

We replaced the outdated blowers from another manufacturer…

As part of the replacement, it was necessary to measure and manufacture stainless steel reducers for the discharge pipe so that the replacement of the blowers could take place without any downtime, thereby avoiding any disruption to the operation of the wastewater treatment plant.

Our service team handled everything with excellence, and we can now boast a new reference.

Thanks to this change, the customer has acquired new, modern blowers that are also much quieter, thus contributing to lower noise levels both outside and, above all, inside the WWTP building itself, where the operators work.

Article WWTP Hostouň (CZ) – replacement of blowers first appeared on Kubíček VHS.

The increased noise level, which reached up to 83 dB in the WWTP area where the staff is located, was repeatedly the subject of complaints.

The main cause of these high values ​​is insufficient pulsation damping in the discharge silencers of the units, as well as the low efficiency of the noise-proof covers of the blowers, which come from another manufacturer.

After examining the situation at the WWTP, we proposed the use of DN125 KUBICEK pipe silencer, in an all-stainless steel design, each with an effective length of 1200 mm.

Thanks to their design and correct dimensioning, the transmission of vibrations and pulsations in the pipe distribution was reduced and, above all, the overall noise load in the space outside the engine room was reduced by more than 40 dB!!!

To reduce the noise emitted outside the blower room through the ventilation ducts, we also custom-made and delivered stainless steel damping labyrinths.

In terms of design, these are absorption silencers, where the internal structure of the silencing insert prevents degradation and “loss” of material, thus ensuring unlimited service life and efficiency across the entire spectrum of blower power regulation.

The silencers were installed directly into the pipeline, as close as possible to the blowers. The connection was made using flexible couplings with metal casing.

This project is further confirmation that when selecting blowers, it is necessary to take into account not only operating parameters, but also high-quality design solutions for silencing elements – silencers and acoustic covers.

Operation at the WWTP Luže is now significantly quieter, safer, and more comfortable for both operators and the surrounding area.

In cooperation with our long-standing partners from JOIN-TECH, we have delivered 2 units of gas blowers 3DPA55CG-200 Ex II2/2G Ex h IIA T3Gb/Gb (75 kW) with a coupling drive, and 2 units of heat exchangers AW200-2000 of our production for the operator of KWK Borynia mine, which is Polish JSW S.A.

Our blowers thus serve as a complement to the 2nd stage of mine gas compression.

The heat exchangers were therefore installed at the inlet of our blowers, due to the need to reduce the gas temperature from the 1st existing compression stage.

This is a very important project, as its successful implementation opens the door for us to further supply our reliable and robust ATEX units to the Polish market.

Article Degassing station, KWK Borynia Mine (PL) first appeared on Kubíček VHS.

Built to Australian standards and in accordance with local regulations, the new Elementz MemPAK MBR containerised wastewater treatment plant provides Class A recycled water, usable for on-site irrigation purposes.

The equipment includes fine screens at the inlet, equalization tanks, MBR membrane bioreactor, treated water tanks and sodium hypochlorite disinfection. The Elementz system is built into a 40′ container and is equipped with only high quality components.

This fully automated device can be monitored and managed via a large integrated touch screen or remotely via a suitable smart device.

For this project, we supplied a set of KUBÍČEK blowers type 3D19B-050E and 3D28A-080E, in stainless steel acoustic covers, for installation on the roof of a container with WWTP technology.

Article WWTP for a train manufacturing plant in Queensland (Australia) first appeared on Kubíček VHS.

This is one of the first projects where we had the opportunity to be involved in the design phase of this RAS system.

Blowers and aeration system by KUBÍČEK, are the ideal combination for these applications, as they supply sufficient air, and therefore oxygen, for all RAS processes at low operating costs.

Currently, a total of 5 of our units in sizes DN50 and DN80 are operating on the farm, fitted with noise covers to achieve very low noise levels.

The RAS (recirculating aquaculture system) Diamond Fish specialises in the farming of African catfish, with an annual production capacity of up to 400 tonnes.

Today’s article takes us to the municipality of Dolní Morava, which has successfully completed the construction of a new wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) using advanced technology to ensure efficient sewage treatment. The WWTP in Dolní Morava is designed with an emphasis on modern technology and environmental protection. It is a structure with a capacity of 4305 equivalent inhabitants (EO), which serves to treat wastewater from a recreational area with high seasonal fluctuations. The Dolní Morava area, renowned for its natural beauty and tourist attractions, requires ecological and sustainable solutions to ensure the long-term protection of natural resources.

The main objective of the project was to achieve a high level of environmental protection and health of the inhabitants of Lower Moravia. The wastewater source is located near the source of the Morava River. Modern treatment technology allows to significantly reduce the load of organic substances, nitrogen and phosphorus introduced into the watercourse, which contributes to the restoration of local ecosystems.

The construction also includes the installation of a photocatalytic unit for odour elimination, which ensures greater comfort for residents living near the treatment plant. The project also includes measures to minimise energy consumption and waste production, including sludge recycling and the use of modern aeration technologies.

The dual-cell design of the WWTP provides flexibility of operation, allowing it to adapt to varying loads and operate efficiently even during periods of low occupancy at the resort. Automated monitoring systems allow continuous monitoring of key parameters and immediate response to any deviations.

Operating machinery and process elements such as recirculation systems and blowers have been designed for ease of maintenance. The tanks are equipped with advanced safety features to minimize the risk of leakage and ensure long-term reliability of the entire system.

The project was designed to not only meet the technical requirements but also to contribute to improving the quality of life of the community residents. The architectural design, which respects the landscape in the form of larch timber cladding combined with the vegetation around the treatment plant, ensures that the building is aesthetically pleasing and integrated into its surroundings.

The project includes a public information system that raises awareness of the importance of water protection and treatment plant operations. This educational aspect promotes the involvement of the local community and strengthens their relationship with sustainable development.

The wastewater treatment plant in Lower Moravia is an example of a modern and sustainable approach to water management. With its technological design, environmental benefits and positive impact on the community, it represents a significant step towards a sustainable future.
